TK/Kindergarten through Fifth grade participate in two musical productions each year with singing and acting.

Fourth graders learn the recorder/song flute and play before the musicals.

Fifth graders find their first band experience in SoundWaves 5 under the direction of our music teacher and sixth graders continue to improve their skills in SoundWaves 6.

Advanced musicians may join SoundWaves 7Up.

Participation in the band for the Christmas and Spring Musicals are by audition, and are open to students in grades 5 and above including alumni, staff, faculty and Friends of South Bay Christian School.

Due to COVID compliance, we are not conducting musicals or band at this time but hope to return soon to our regular music program.

Fourth and Fifth graders are still learning the recorder and Ukulele with their classmates.

We also offer extracurricular music lessons after-school for an additional fee taught by independent contractors.
