Third and Fourth Grade
Grades Three and Four
South Bay Christian School
Our theme for the school year is "Growing in God's Love". School is all about growing in all areas with our minds, our bodies, our friends, our characters, and our relationship with Jesus.
We will understand our school mission and vision statements through the Bible verse Micah 6:8 that teaches us to ACT justly, to LOVE mercy, and to WALK humbly with God.

Parents,
Our spring fundraiser, our first ever Color Run is on May 24. We hope you’ll save the date and join us for a morning of fun, school community and raising money for SBCS and the many projects needed. The deadline for funds raised is May 3 to qualify for prizes for the Color Run! SBCS is SO grateful for your help and support!
The field trip slip for the Wallis Annenberg Petspace is Wednesday. Thank you to the following parents for driving and chaperoning on this very cool opportunity we have through Mason’s mom to experience compassion and life science. Driving on Wednesday will be Ms. Xiong, Mrs. Haylock, Mrs. Uphoff, Mrs. Garcia, Mr. Salelesi and Mrs. Born. Thanks as always for your wonderful support of our learning opportunities and activities.
Be thinking about the Talent Show coming up on Thursday, May 16, 2024, and let Ms. Dahl, the office, or myself know if you are interested in scheduling an audition. This has proven to be a WONDERFUL evening for SBCS in previous years.
Students are encouraged to keep their homework page in their folder inside their backpack providing access at home and at school as needed. The Homework Page can also be found on the Teacher Pages on our school website.
Thank you for the effort you are all putting into getting all the acceptable uniform articles and accessories consistent with our policy. We greatly appreciate your cooperation.
Check out the Seabreeze and the school calendar for the latest information on upcoming events.
Have a great week!
