International Study Program in California at South Bay Christian School

South Bay Christian School welcomes international students from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, China, and countries around the world.

Our accredited private Christian school in Torrance, California, offers English immersion, small class sizes, personalized instruction, and a safe, caring environment where students can strengthen their English skills while experiencing American education and culture.

We offer short-term, summer, and long-term study options for international students in Grades 3–8.

Program Options

1. Winter English Immersion Program

January–February | 4–8 Weeks

Students in Grades 3–8 attend classes alongside American students while improving their English through daily classroom immersion, school activities, chapel, and educational experiences.

2. Summer English Immersion Program

June–August

Students build English skills through academic enrichment, field trips, sports, hands-on activities, and an engaging American summer camp experience.

3. F-1 Student Visa (I-20) Program

6 Months–2 Years

South Bay Christian School is authorized to enroll qualified international students with an F-1 Student Visa and issue the Form I-20 required for study in the United States.

Students receive an accredited American education, English language support, individualized instruction, and full participation in school life.

Grade Eligibility

International programs are available to students entering Grades 3–8.

Students in Transitional Kindergarten through 2nd Grade may be considered only when a parent or legal guardian lives in the United States with the child during enrollment.

English Placement and Support

Before enrollment, we ask that students have some English proficiency to join grade-level activities in the classroom.
