Tuition, School Hours & Extended Care

New Student Registration Fee:  

A $450 non-refundable fee for all new applicants, that is due by the date provided in the student’s acceptance letter.  

Returning Student Re-Enrollment Fee: 

A non-refundable fee for all returning students, that is due by July 10, 2026

• $260 if paid by Monday, April 6, 2026

• $360 If paid on or after April 7, 2026, and no later than July 10, 2026

Payment Plans:  
Available Payment Plans include a 10-month plan with first payment due by August 5, 2026, a 12-month plan with first payment due by July 5, 2026, or a payment-in-full option due by July 5, 2026. 

Extended Care (Before & After School):   
Extended care is available before school from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., and after school until 6:00 p.m. for a $7.00 hourly rate, billed in 30-minute increments.  

Available Discounts:

• Constituent Discount:  Members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church financially support Adventist education through their church, which provides subsidies for the educational costs of SBCS.  Families who are members in good standing of the SDA Church receive a $700 Annual Tuition discount. 

• Sibling Discount:   Families with more than one student at SBCS will be charged the full Annual Tuition for the first student, and a 5% discount will be applied to each additional sibling’s Annual Tuition (does not apply to Annual Fees). 

• Full Payment Discount:  Total Annual Tuition & Fees paid in full.  Full payments made by Friday, July 10, 2026 will receive a $350 discount.  Full payments made after July 10 and by the first day of school will only receive a $250 discount.  

• New Student(s) Referral:  Current student families who refer a new family that enrolls at SBCS and remains for at least six months will receive a one-time $250 credit to their SBCS account.

• Tuition payments are due by the 5th of the month.  Tuition paid on or before the 10th of the month will receive a $25 SBCS account credit on the next month’s invoice.   

• Tuition not received by the 20th of the month will result in a $25 monthly penalty applied to the student’s account for any month the account is delinquent. 

• Payments may be made by cash or check, Zelle payments to accounting@sbchristian.com, major credit card with an added convenience fee (currently 3.5%), or PayPal with an added convenience fee (currently 2.29%) 

• Accounts must be kept current.  Delinquent accounts (i.e., after the 20th of the month) will be referred to the Finance Committee, and parents may be asked to keep their student home until the account is brought current.  An exception to this policy may be made if a written agreement is arranged with and signed by the SBCS Accounting Office prior to the 20th of the month in which tuition has not been paid and all terms of the contract are fulfilled. 

• Accounts must be current for students to participate in any extracurricular activities (e.g., after-school classes) and may not be allowed to take final exams or receive a yearbook.
